Proposals for any papers or posters that you want to present at this year's Celebration of Scholarship are due soon. Panel sessions are scheduled as they are received; paper sessions are scheduled when the application process is closed. The deadline to submit applications to the paper and panel sessions is February 8, 2010. Also please note that we are again planning to hold the Honors Spring Banquet the Sunday prior to the beginning of Celebration of Scholarship, March 21. Please save the date!
Next Thursday evening, January 28th, the Honors Program will be taking a trip to see "Anna Belle Eema" a one act, dark comedy presented by Cleveland Public Theatre. The play is written by Lisa D'Amour and tells the story of "a woman, her daughter, and a strange girl in a trailer park. . . . Anna Bella Eema combines creepy campfire stories, music, sound and fairy tales in an original, highly stylized one-act" (CPT). So come, break up your week with us next Thursday!
